Custom Table Numbers and Escort Cards for Kristyn and Nick

A few weeks ago, I worked with Dawn, of Distinctive Occasions Event Planning, to finish up a few last designs for Kristyn and Nick's wedding.
These designs kept the same theme as the invitations and monograms I created for the couple, in a lovely mix of  silver, lavender, and a deep purple.

The table number design features a large silhouette of a chandelier, with the table and number in an elegant script font.
The escort card features the same chandelier motif, this time appearing twice!
Thanks again, Dawn!  And congrats to Kristyn and Nick!

Custom Vineyard Theme Wedding Stationery for Heather

Heather orders a custom monogram design, along with a menu card, escort cards, and wine labels for her wedding!  Since the wedding will be at a vineyard, Heather is carrying out the wine theme by using grapes embellishments on the designs.

The monogram includes the couples initials, intertwined with bunches of grapes.

Real Weddings: Lyndsey and Hugh

A while back, I created a wedding invitation design, along with a custom menu card and seating chart, for Lyndsey and Hugh.  I was so excited when Lyndsey sent me a few photos from the wedding to show me how everything turned out!

All photos © Sandra Tenuto, www.tenutophoto.com

Lyndsey created a pocket fold style invitation, using her damask monogram to seal the folder:

I love the hot pink and black color combination- so classy, with a modern touch!

The actual invite was mounted on a hot pink backing inside the black pocket fold. All the pieces of the suite featured a black damask embellishment in opposite corners.

All the inserts were stacked in a pocket to the right.  We staggered the height of each insert so that the titles would peak out.

For the reception stationery, we when with a slightly more contemporary star burst inspired graphic, and added orange to the color palette.

Their  seating chart features the same star burst motif, along with the phrase "Eat, Drink, and Be Married" in the lower right corner.

Thanks so much for sharing these photos, Lyndsey! And congrats to you and your husband!

Freebie Friday: Fleur de Lis Printables

Happy Friday everyone!
Since I didn't have a chance to post a freebie last week, today I have 2 new free download and print designs to share!

First up is a votive wrap with an elegant fleur de lis pattern featuring a scalloped frame with the text "Eat, Drink, and be Married" on the front.  These wraps would add a classy touch to your reception decor!

To Use:

2. Print on 8-1/2" x 11" card stock.
3. Cut along solid outer border with scissors. (You may need to do a little additional trimming to fit your votive. I created these wraps to fit 1.4 oz. glass votives purchased from Michaels.)

4. Wrap around your votive candle, and use double sided tape or adhesive on the overlapping portion of the wrap to secure in place.
5. Enjoy!

Next up is the coordinating "Perfect Match" printable matchbook wrap. They fit matchbooks that measure approximately 2" x 1.5". This download and print PDF file includes editable text boxes so you can personalize the design with your names and wedding date!

To use:
2. To edit the text: Open the file using Adobe Reader. (Please make sure to use the most up to date version of the software. You can download a free copy of Adobe Reader here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ )
Double click the text and highlight it, then replace with your information. When printing, make sure that in the print dialog box under "comments and forms" you select "Document and Markups".  If it isn't selected, the text you type in may not print.
3. Print on 8-1/2" x 11" card stock.
4. Cut along solid outer border with scissors or exacto knife and ruler. (since match book sizes will vary slightly, you may need to do a little more trimming to fit the design to your matchbook)
5. Score along the dashed lines using a bone folder (or butter knife) and ruler.
6. Wrap around your matchbook, using double sided tape or adhesive to secure in place.
7. Enjoy!

Make sure to stop by next Friday for the matching "Eat, drink, and be married" gable box template !

Like these design, but want them in a different color? Custom colors and/or custom designed votive and match book wraps are available. Pricing starts at $5. Email me at sarah{@}belletristics.com if you're interested!

Minted 2010 Holiday Card Spectacular: No. 23!!

So I'm a little late in announcing this here, but I'm proud to say one of my designs, A Very Merry Christmas, came in at number 23 in the Minted 2010 Holiday Card Spectacular! Considering there were nearly 1400 designs submitted for the contest, I am absolutely floored to have one of my designs in the top 25.

This card, along with the other winners, will be available for sale exclusively through Minted later this year.

Minted has been doing a countdown (over at the Minted Blog and the Minted Facebook Page) to announce the top 25 designs in their most recent design challenge (they're set to announce No. 15 today so go check it out!).  You can also head over to the post on my winning design, A Very Merry Christmas, and see what Minted had to say!

Custom Bridal Shower Invitation for Shurrell

A few months ago, I designed custom wedding invites and reception stationery for Shurrell and her now husband, Brandon. (Congrats, you two!)

And now Shurrell is helping out with a friend's bridal shower, and requested a custom invitation design to match the party's "pretty in pearls" tea party theme.
The invite featured a stack of damask patterned tea cups, accented by strands of pearls and a few "fancy" hats to encourage guests to dress up for the party!
So cute!

Thanks again, Shurrell!

Custom Reception Stationery for Brigid and Steven

A few weeks ago, I finished up a few reception designs for Brigid and Steven to complete their wedding stationery suite!
The table number design incorporated the decorative frame we used in Brigid and Steven's wedding monogram.

The escort cards tied in to their other stationery by making use of the same frame from their invitations.
And the dinner menu included a similar border, to frame the title at the top of the card!

Thanks again, Brigid!  And congrats to you and Steven on your marriage!

Custom Skyline Invitation Suite for Julie and Albert

Julie ordered a custom wedding invitation suite, featuring both the Houston and San Francisco skylines!
The invitation designs were created to coordinate with the custom save the date and monogram  designs I created for the couple earlier this year.

I love the silhouettes of both city's skylines used at the top of the insert cards!

The response card is a two sided postcard design, with space on the back for guests to request a song to play at the wedding reception.

In addition to a directions card, I also created a custom map of downtown Houston.  Since many of the streets downtown are one way, we used a magnified inset with arrows showing the traffic directions on the streets.

I also created a custom belly band to wrap around the invitation and enclosures:

And to finish it all off, a wrap around address label for the outer envelope!

Thanks again, Julie!
