Since it is Thanksgiving, I do want to take a moment to say a few of the things I'm thankful for this year.

I'm thankful for all the wonderful people I've had a chance to meet and work with over the past years running Belletristics. Without each and every one of you, Belletristics wouldn't exist! 

I'm extremely thankful for all of my family and friends! I look forward to seeing everyone today and this weekend, and am so happy to be able to spend the holidays surrounded by those I love.

I also want to give a special "Thank You" to my wonderful husband, Jake. He has supported me in starting my own business, and been by my side every stressful step of the way. He's been patient and understanding on the days I work from 9 am to well past my "closing" time of 6 pm and into the late hours of the night. He's put up with an office overflowing with wedding stationery and crafting supplies, and helped out with the stationery photo shoot for the website. I am truly blessed to have such a fantastic person in my life, and I could not have done this without him!

Menu Card, Escort Card, and Table Numbers for Lindsay and Matthew

Dawn, of Distinctive Occasions Event Planning, ordered a custom menu, table numbers, and escort cards for her clients Lindsay and Matthew. She was looking for a very simple, yet elegant design in a gold, champagne, and ivory color palette.

We left a bit of space at the top of the menu card, since Dawn plans to further embellish it with pearls and gemstones.

The bottom of the card featured the couple's monogram, surrounded with an elegant flourish.

The same flourish was used to tie in the escort card design:

And the table numbers included the flourish and monogram as well!

Real Weddings: Gretchen and John

Earlier this year, Gretchen ordered one of my ready made monogram designs to use on her wedding stationery. Well, she emailed me a bit ago to share some photos from the wedding, and show me how great the monogram worked out!

Custom Menu, Table Numbers, and Program for Gillian

Gillian ordered a custom menu card, table numbers, and stacked ceremony program for her September wedding!

The menu card featured their names at the top, with an elegant calligraphy inspired flourish.

The square table numbers included a gorgeous bunch of orchids in the upper left:

Gillian chose a stacked style program design, with pages of varying lengths. The program utilized the same lovely orchids as the table numbers.

Real Weddings: Frances and Nicholas

Just over a year ago, I created a few custom monogram designs for Frances and her now husband Nicholas. Now that their August wedding has come and gone, Frances was sweet enough to send over a few photos of the monograms in action!

Freebie Friday: Adore Favor Box Freebie

Freebie Friday is back! This week we have a download and print favor box from the Adore ready made wedding stationery suite!
This cute little box features a damask pattern, with the phrase "thank you for sharing our day" on the front. The box measures 2" square when assembled, and is the perfect size for a few sweets, like Hershey's Kisses or Truffles.

To use:
1. Download the Adore Favor Box Template PDF.
2. Print on 8-1/2" x 11" card stock.
3. Score on dashed fold lines using a bone folder (or butter knife) and ruler.
4. Cut along solid outer border with scissors or exacto knife and ruler.
5. Fold back on dashed lines to form your favor box. Use adhesive or double sided tape to secure side and bottom flap.
6. Enjoy!

Custom Calligraphy Inspired Ceremony Program for Kerri and Timothy

Kerri ordered a custom ceremony program design to coordinate with her calligraphy inspired invitation suite we worked on earlier this year.

We went with a two sided tea length program style. The front of the program featured the couple's names in diagonal script, to mimic their invitation design. The bridal party was also listed on the front, and the back of the program held the order of service.

Custom Monogram and Invitation Suite for Abby and Max

Abby ordered a custom monogram and invitation suite for her New Year's Eve wedding! She requested a design in her colors of eggplant and red, with graphics loosely inspired by a strand of pearls.

The monogram featured the couple's first names in an elegant script, embellished with strands of "pearls" in all eggplant.

Their invitation featured the same pearl inspired graphics, this time in both eggplant and red.

Custom Program and Reception Designs for Catherine and Michael

Dawn, of Distinctive Occasions Event Planning, ordered a custom menu, program, table numbers, and escort cards for her clients Catherine and Michael. We coordinated the designs with the custom mum themed monogram I'd previously created for the couple.
