Real Weddings: Kathleen and Sergio

Last fall, I had the pleasure of working with Kathleen on a variety of stationery designs for her wedding! She was planning for an old Hollywood/movie themed wedding, and each piece of her wedding stationery reflected that theme.

Her invitations were designed to resemble a vintage movie poster, the ceremony program was inspired by the credits at the end of the movie, and her seating chart featured a silhouette of Grauman's Chinese Theatre!
So when Kathleen sent me a few photos of the wedding, I was definitely excited to share them here!

Custom Peony Invitation for Chelsey and Jared

Chelsey fell in love with the custom peony themed stationery suite I created for Angela last fall, and requested an invitation design with a similar look and feel.

The circular monogram featured the couple's initials and wedding date, with a lovely hand drawn peony in the background. Chelsey was looking for a traditional invitation design with bunches of peonies added in for a romantic touch.

Mix & Match Stationery for Martina and Oliver

Martina absolutely loved the mix and match stationery designs I created for Jackie and Paul, and requested the same design elements for her reception stationery! Martina's wedding colors were black and red, and when paired with a damask pattern made for a set of bold, yet formal designs.

Martina's candy buffet sign and water bottle label design both incorporated the phrase "all you need is love". A coordinating damask photo booth sign encouraged guests to take as many photos as they'd like.

Custom Cupcake and Drink Flag Designs for Corrine

Corrine ordered a set of custom printable cupcake and drink flag designs for her upcoming wedding! She requested a design featuring a black and white damask pattern, along with the phrases "Salute" and "Na Zdrowie" (the Italian and Polish translations of "cheers")

Real Weddings: Catherine and Steven

Earlier this year, Catherine ordered a few accessory designs from the Bliss suite in her wedding colors of red and black. Now that their wedding day has passed, Catherine shared a few photos of how her designs turned out!

Custom Calligraphy Inspired Ceremony Program for Kerri and Timothy

Kerri ordered a custom ceremony program design to coordinate with her calligraphy inspired invitation suite we worked on earlier this year.

We went with a two sided tea length program style. The front of the program featured the couple's names in diagonal script, to mimic their invitation design. The bridal party was also listed on the front, and the back of the program held the order of service.

Re-Introducing the Adore Ready Made Stationery Suite!

Now that the new website is up and running, I want to take some time to re-introduce all the ready made design suites! First up is Adore- featuring a delicate lace inspired damask border, paired with a mix of ornate script and classic titling fonts for a look that is timeless in its elegance.

Custom Monogram Design for Kristen

Kristen was looking for a traditional and formal monogram design, to use on her reception stationery. She requested a logo that incorporated their initials, along with a calligraphy inspired flourish.

Damask Wedding Invitation Suite for Erin and Joe

Erin ordered a custom pink and black damask invitation suite for her October wedding!

We started off with a custom monogram design that Erin will be able to use in her do it yourself projects, to coordinate the rest of her wedding stationery.

The invitation featured the phrase "in celebration of love" surrounded by an elegant black damask pattern.

The reply card featured the same damask, this time running down the side. Erin also chose to go with the "bells" rsvp wording- so fun!

Matching accommodations and directions cards were also included.

The invitation and inserts were wrapped with a custom belly band, featuring the damask pattern, along with Erin and Joe's monogram.

To finish it off, I also created a custom wrap around address label design for the outer envelope!

Freebie Friday: Printable Cupcake and Drink Flags

Happy Friday!
Today I'm sharing a free design that coordinates with the Elation Suite I introduced earlier this week: printable cupcake and drink flags!  Just download and print for a quick and easy way to add some class to your cocktail, or some flair to your treats.

DIY Printable Cupcake and Drink Flags

To Use:
1. Download the Elation cupcake and drink flag printable PDF file.

2. Print onto 8-1/2"x11" card stock.

3. Carefully cut each flag out, fold in half, then use adhesive to attach to a toothpick, straw, or bamboo skewer.

Tip: Wait to cut the triangular notch out until you've folded in half and glued- that way everything will be perfectly lined up.

4. Enjoy!

Floral inspired swirls and flourishes grace the corners of this classy invitation suite. A bold mix of sans serif titling and ornate script fonts add to the overall elegance of this contemporary yet classic design.

Each suite includes the design of a matching monogram, invitation, and response card, along with your choice of address label or address design, and your choice of envelope liner or belly band design.  The designs will be customized with your information and colors.  The sizes can also be adjusted to fit your needs (as long as the orientation and shape stay the same).

A few weeks ago, Gwen ordered a water bottle label for her clients, Stacey and Mike.  The labels were a customized version of my ready made design wat-018, with the couple's wedding monogram design added.

When Gwen left me feedback on Etsy, she was sweet enough to add a photo of how the labels turned out!
