Ready Made Seating Chart Designs

Lately, I've been getting quite a few requests for seating chart designs. I've always offered them on the Belletristics' website, but until now I hadn't gotten around to introducing them here or adding them to the Etsy shop. Well, at long last, here they are!

Seating charts are a great alternative to escort cards. Rather than having a separate card for each guest, a seating chart allows you to prominently display the seating assignment for your reception. 

They also work well when used with place cards; the seating chart would direct your guest to their table, and the place card (which would be placed at table) will mark their seat. 

The names can be arranged alphabetically or by table, and a list of the members of your bridal party could also be included.

Seating chart sizes can be changed to accommodate your needs, as long as the design retains its orientation and overall shape. 

Because of the large size of these designs, using a professional printer is necessary. Generally, you'll have the design printed as a poster, then mount on foam board or have the seating chart framed.

Plan ahead to save yourself the stress of putting together your seating plan at the last minute. Seating charts often end up being a last minute item, so make sure to check with your printer for their turn around times (some can have the chart ready as quickly as 1-2 hours; other printers may require up to a week to have the design ready)

Real Weddings: Frances and Nicholas

Just over a year ago, I created a few custom monogram designs for Frances and her now husband Nicholas. Now that their August wedding has come and gone, Frances was sweet enough to send over a few photos of the monograms in action!

Custom Ceremony Program and Seating Chart for Christina and Jeremy

About a month ago, I finished up a few last designs for Christina and Jeremy's July wedding: a ceremony program and a seating chart design. Both items used the same blue and green floral inspired flourishes as Christina and Jeremy's custom invitations and monogram.
The ceremony program was a four page folded design, featuring their monogram on the front, along with their names, wedding date, and location.
The back page included an "In loving memory" section, along with a thank you from the couple.

The inside pages of the ceremony program contained the order of service information, along with a listing of the members of the bridal party.

The seating chart also contained their monogram, prominently displayed in the upper right corner, surrounded by flourishes and swirls.

Real Weddings: Lyndsey and Hugh

A while back, I created a wedding invitation design, along with a custom menu card and seating chart, for Lyndsey and Hugh.  I was so excited when Lyndsey sent me a few photos from the wedding to show me how everything turned out!

Lyndsey created a pocket fold style invitation, using her damask monogram to seal the folder:

I love the hot pink and black color combination- so classy, with a modern touch!

The actual invite was mounted on a hot pink backing inside the black pocket fold. All the pieces of the suite featured a black damask embellishment in opposite corners.

All the inserts were stacked in a pocket to the right.  We staggered the height of each insert so that the titles would peak out.

For the reception stationery, we when with a slightly more contemporary star burst inspired graphic, and added orange to the color palette.

Their  seating chart features the same star burst motif, along with the phrase "Eat, Drink, and Be Married" in the lower right corner.

Custom Seating Chart for Missy and Christopher

Last week I finished up one final design for Missy and Christopher's wedding- the seating chart!

We went with a portrait layout, featuring their gold and pink floral inspired monogram at the top.  Below that, the parents of the bride and groom, along with the rest of the bridal party, are listed, followed by all the guests in alphabetical order.

Custom Seating Chart Design for Kristen and Cody

Kristen ordered a custom seating chart design to coordinate with her invitations and program! We finished this design up just in time for her wedding (which took place on April 30).

Seating Chart Design for Erin and Matt

First off, I'd like to say congrats to Erin and Matt, whose wedding was this past Saturday!
The week before the big day, I finished up a custom seating chart for the couple to use at their reception.
The design featured their monogram displayed prominently at the top of the chart, with their guest's names below.

Custom Seating Chart Design for Lyndsey and Hugh

Lyndsey ordered a custom seating chart design, and requested the same star burst graphic used in her menu design.

We created a portrait style seating chart design, that Lyndsey will be framing and displaying the reception.

I love the "Eat, drink, and be married" phrase at the bottom! So sweet!

Seating Chart for Jela'ni and Andra'
