Delight: modern stripe wedding inspiration

Yesterday I introduced the Delight design suite; a modern wedding stationery design featuring diagonal stripes and a playful script font. And today I have a blue and turquoise stripe themed inspiration board to match!

Custom Welcome Booklet Design for Mary Allison

Mary Allison ordered a custom information booklet design to include in her welcome package for guests at her destination wedding in the Bahamas. We continued with the same monochromatic typography based theme used in her invitation, save the date, and program designs.
The inside pages of the welcome booklet included a timeline of events for the weekend, along with Mary Allison and Chester's recommendations for activities and restaurants to enjoy while in the Bahamas.

An information booklet like this is such a thoughtful idea if you're expecting a lot of out of town guests, or, if like Mary Allison, you're planning a destination wedding!

Mix & Match Stationery for Carly and Michael

Carly ordered a striped invitation suite in her colors of bubblegum and cobalt!

A bold diagonal striped pattern paired with a fun casual script font gave all the pieces a fun flair! Carly chose to do a postcard style rsvp card, and to finish off the suite she added in a coordinating wrap around address label design.

Custom Program Design for Mary Allison

Continuing the monochromatic typography based theme of her invitation and save the date, Mary Allison ordered a custom ceremony program design for her destination wedding in the Bahamas.
The cover featured the couples name and wedding date, along with their sea anemone inspired monogram. The inside pages of the accordion style program contained the order of service for their ceremony, a listing of the bridal party, and a thank you note from the couple.

Custom Invitation Design for Mary Allison and Chester

I previously worked with Mary Allison to create a custom monogram and custom baggage tag save the date for her destination wedding in the Bahamas, so I was happy to hear from her again when it came time for her invitations.
Since she planned to have the invitations letterpress printed, we opted for a simple yet elegant design for the invitation and rsvp card. Aside from the smaller version of the couple's monogram on the reply card, the design featured only typography.

Mix & Match Stationery for Christine and Patrick

Christine ordered a set of nautical themed mix and match stationery for her New England wedding! The pieces incorporated a sand dollar motif alongside a striped pattern.

 Christine's menu, escort cards, and guest book sign all featured the couple's sand dollar themed monogram. A pale blue striped pattern added to the nautical feel of their stationery.

Re-Introducing the Cheers Ready Made Stationery Suite

Re-introducing the Cheers ready made stationery suite! This suite is one of the original design suites offered by Belletristics, but it's recently gotten a bit of a makeover, and been expanded to include even more printable stationery designs than before.

Freebie Friday: Damask Favor Box Template

Happy Friday, everyone! This week for Freebie Friday I'm sharing a damask download and print favor box, featuring a pair of adorable love birds!

To use:
1. Download the damask love birds favor box template.
2. Print on 8-1/2" x 11" card stock.
3. Score on dashed fold lines using a bone folder (or butter knife) and ruler.
4. Cut along solid outer border with scissors or exacto knife and ruler.
5. Fold back on dashed lines to form your favor box. Use adhesive or double sided tape to secure side and bottom flap.
6. Enjoy!

Surprise Birthday Party Invitation

Earlier this year, I created a gorgeous invitation suite for Jennifer and her husband, Mark. 

Jennifer contacted me again recently to create a custom invitation design for a surprise birthday party she was hosting for her parents. I love it when I have the chance to work with clients again once the big day has passed!

Jennifer requested a fun and modern invitation, featuring a martini in the design. Other than that, she left the design completely up to me!

CD Label Design for Elizabeth and Peter

Bridget, of SoCo Events, ordered a custom CD label design on behalf of her clients, Elizabeth and Peter. They were looking for a design to coordinate with their monogram (DEC-037 from the ready made collection). The design incorporated their names and wedding date, along with the phrase "A love fifteen years in the making".

The CD contained a mix of the couple's favorite songs, and was given as a favor at their wedding.

Baggage Tag Save the Date for Mary Allison and Chester

Earlier this year, I created a very unique custom monogram design for Mary Allison, so naturally I was excited to see what she had in mind for her save the date design!
Mary Allison chose to do a baggage tag themed save the date card, complete with "bar code" and beveled corners.  As a finishing touch, she punched a hole at the top of the tag using a metal grommet and slipped a piece of string through.

The back of the card featured a pattern made up of her custom wedding monogram!

Along with the baggage tag, Mary Allison included an information card, with details on flights, hotel reservations and transportation.  A must when you're having a destination wedding in the Bahamas!

Custom Ceremony Program and Seating Chart for Christina and Jeremy

About a month ago, I finished up a few last designs for Christina and Jeremy's July wedding: a ceremony program and a seating chart design. Both items used the same blue and green floral inspired flourishes as Christina and Jeremy's custom invitations and monogram.
The ceremony program was a four page folded design, featuring their monogram on the front, along with their names, wedding date, and location.
The back page included an "In loving memory" section, along with a thank you from the couple.

The inside pages of the ceremony program contained the order of service information, along with a listing of the members of the bridal party.

The seating chart also contained their monogram, prominently displayed in the upper right corner, surrounded by flourishes and swirls.

Custom Monogram Design for Mary Allison

Mary Allison ordered a custom monogram design for her upcoming wedding!  She requested an abstract logo inspired by a sea urchin, which we created by rotating an "A" (for their last name initial) inside a circle. Dots and a scalloped boarder were added to complete the look.

Custom Reception Stationery for Brigid and Steven

A few weeks ago, I finished up a few reception designs for Brigid and Steven to complete their wedding stationery suite!

The table number design incorporated the decorative frame we used in Brigid and Steven's wedding monogram.

The escort cards tied in to their other stationery by making use of the same frame from their invitations.

And the dinner menu included a similar border, to frame the title at the top of the card!
